Reproflex 3, the Newcastle-based flexo pre-press and digital print provider, has set up a new division to offer a complete packaging mock-up service to design agencies, manufacturers and packaging printers.

Packagingmock-ups.co.uk will use the HP Indigo WS4000 six-colour digital press installed at Reproflex 3 in 2003, as well as the repro firm's studio and offices.

The division will offer a full finishing and assembly service, including heat-sealing, shrinkwrapping, laminating, UV varnishing and die-cutting.

It will also integrate white on clear, matt and metallics, matt or gloss finishes and clear panels into the mock-ups, as well as offer sales samples and personalised short-run digital labels.

Reproflex 3 sales and marketing manager Samantha Cassell will run Packagingmock-ups.co.uk, supported by customer services executive Carly Fletcher and a team of two printers and two print finishers.
