PG Packaging wins planning approval

PG Packaging, a supplier of packaging materials for food products, has had plans to build a new storage building near Coates in Peterborough approved by Fenland District Council's planning committee.

The planning committee heard that the storage building was required as the existing facilities on the site were not adequate to cope with demand.

The expansion will create 37 full and part-time jobs.

PG Packaging, which specialises in the fruit and vegetable sector, also has a warehouse in Arbroath in Scotland.
