Framptons secures wine deal
Contract packer Framptons has secured a contract with catering wine producer Red White, following the installation of a second bag-in-box filling line in March.
Geoff Slater, general sales manager of Somerset-based Framptons, said the company commissioned the new Flexifill line to fill "an obvious gap in our portfolio".
It has enabled the company to offer bags with a range of taps and drink dispenser outlets, in addition to the snap cap bags it produces on its original line.
Family-run Framptons was established in 1898 as an egg production and packaging operation and has moved into liquid contract packing.
The company can package ambient and chilled products and currently contract packs fruit juices, milk and smoothies in gable-top cartons.
