Printpack Inc, the manufacturer of flexible and rigid packaging, is to raise the price of all its product lines by up to 20% to deal with increased manufacturing prices.

The company said despite ongoing work to improve productivity and decrease waste, significant increases in the costs of raw materials, energy and transport have meant that it is necessary to raise prices.

The increases will take effect over the next few weeks, it said.

Printpack operates 26 manufacturing facilities in the US, Mexico and UK.
