Visy Industries, the Australian packaging and recycling group, has ordered thermoforming moulds, a pick-up stacker and handling system from Mould & Matic for its plant in Asia.

The system has been customised in two lines to meet the requirements of the Asian plant and can process around 1,200 cups a minute.

It will be despatched from Micheldorf in Austria at the end of this year.

Mould & Matic, which employs around 150 people, had a turnover of €12m (£9.7m) in 2007.
