PPMA Show to feature 360 exhibitors

The PPMA Show opens its doors tomorrow at Birmingham's NEC where more than 360 exhibitors will be showing packaging machinery and products for the food and drink, household products, cosmetics and pharmaceuticals sectors.

Show organiser Reed Exhibitions is predicting visitor numbers over the three days from 30 September to 2 October will exceed the previous show in 2006, when nearly 6,300 attended.

Signing up for the PPMA Show will also give visitors access to the co-located Interplas exhibition for the polymer sector, which includes the Inspex feature for those interested in quality control and measurement.

It is recommended that visitors register online before arriving at the NEC so that they can simply print out their badges at the self-service touchscreens and walk straight in.

PPMA exhibition director Liz Finlay said: "The PPMA Show provides the perfect showcase for the best in British manufacturing, with many exhibitors this year demonstrating new products and their latest innovations.

"The exhibition has always attracted senior buyers from blue chip organisations and we look forward to a busy three days with a wide range of machinery solutions on show for visitors, and plenty of new business opportunities for our exhibitors."
