Law Print Pack has completed its first design-to-print project with the launch of the redesigned range of Pero Food's Premium and Working Dog range of pet foods.

Pero Food tasked Stockport-based Law Print Pack to improve the packs' "on-shelf graphic presence" with a quality and premium design.

The company moved the pet foods from plastic and paper bags into small polyester and polyethylene four-corner seal bags and a larger bag made from a woven OPP laminated to a reverse printed BOPP layer.

Pero general manager Mark Johnson said Law Print "quickly converted our initial brief to what we believe is a class leading presentation on the pet food shelf".

Law Print Pack has been able to reduce the number of printing plates required and minimise costs by handling the project from design to manufacture.

The packs were launched at garden, pet and leisure show Glee at the Birmingham NEC last month (21-23 September).

Law Print Pack specialises in pre-form packaging, such as bags and pouches, for the pet food and food industries.
