Gizeh makes less shiny tubs for Country Life
Gizeh, in Germany, has manufactured the plastic tubs for Dairy Crest's refreshed butter brand Country Life.
The moulded plastic tubs in Country Life's distinctive gold colour have been given a more subtle sheen with less reflected glare than previous versions, to give the brand a more premium feel.
The clear in-mould labels for the tubs were printed by German gravure printer Druckhaus Rahning.
Design consultancy Brandopus in London created the refreshed designs for the packaging, in which the letter y in the logo has been transformed into an oak tree to suggest the natural world.
Flexo printer Hovat in Kent printed the foil wraps used for the Country Life block butters.
Gizeh, which manufactures plastic packaging, was founded in 1920 as a converter of cigarette papers. In 1998, RPC Group acquired the disposable packaging operations.
