E Pease & Son, the Leeds-based industrial packaging recycling and reconditioning business, has been acquired by hazardous waste recycler WasteCare for an undisclosed sum.

E Pease & Son, which handles more than 500,000 steel, plastic and fibre drums and tanks a year, will now trade as PackCare.

WasteCare, which is part of Silver Lining Industries, has a projected annual turnover of £25m and employs 255 people around Britain.
