Beatson Clark wins Abidec deal

The company is manufacturing the bottles for pharmaceutical firm Wiilliam Ransom which is manufacturing the product for Chefaro UK and Chefaro Ireland.

William Ramsom has selected Beatson Clark’s 30ml amber round bottles for Abidec, with a standard roll on pilfer proof (ROPP) neck.

The company chose amber because it provides UV protection to the product and glass means there is little danger of any external toxins contaminating the products or leakage from the bottle.

The bottles will be manufactured at Beatson Clark’s Rotherham plant and transferred to William Ransom’s Witham, Essex facility for filling.

The contract, worth an undisclosed sum, is for 750,000 bottles per year.

William Ransom has used Beatson Clark as its main glass supplier for the past 14 years and it is currently their main supplier.
