Chevler Packaging, which manufactures plastic and paper packaging, has fallen into administration.

The Buckinghamshire-based company, which is reported to have a turnover of more than £14m, called in administrators on 10 February.

Chevler Packaging’s administrator Richard Hawes from Deloitte was unavailable to comment this morning.

The company was still answering telephones at its head office today but declined to comment on its situation.

Chevler Packaging, which was established in 1920 as a printer, has facilities in South Wales and Bristol.

In February 2007, the company closed its cartonboard operations after failing to find a buyer.
