Cosmetics brand seeks top torso to feature on lipgloss pack

Kooky cosmetics brand Urban Decay has launched a “manhunt” to find two men to feature on its new lipgloss packs.

The company has started a worldwide campaign to find the men, who will become the face, and body, of two new products in its Pocket Rocket range.

The winning pictures will join the existing eight men that feature on Pocket Rocket packs, created by California-based cosmetics packaging specialist HCT.

Lenticular images of men, who appear to undress as the pack is moved, feature on the lid of the PCTA bottle.

Sex pheromones, chemicals given off by the body to attract the opposite sex, were included in the ink used to print the Urban Decay logo.

HCT worked with the internal development team at Urban Decay to develop the Pocket Rocket pack, which was launched in March this year.

Pictures can be uploaded on the Urban Decay website before the deadline of 15 July. Online voters will then have three days to vote for their favourite contender.

The winners will be flown to California for the photo shoot, and the pictures will be launched on pack in Spring 2010.
