Half of the 200 exhibitors at this months Easyfairs Packaging Innovations and Packtech show have already signed up for next years exhibition, which will include a new feature on green packaging.

Easyfairs UK managing director Peter Heath (pictured) said he was “absolutely delighted” with the success of this month’s show, which was attended by 2,235 people over the two days.

Clear Packaging, which makes plastic cartons, sleeves and lids, was exhibiting at Easyfairs for the first time, but said it was likely to do something again in the future.

“We’ve had some big brands and brand managers coming to talk with us, which is very encouraging,” added sales and marketing director Neil Farmer.

Label manufacturers Harlands and Ditone, which exhibited together, said it was a successful networking event.

The Easyfairs show took place at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry on 7-8 March. Next year’s show will be held at the NEC in March 2008.
