Scrapshop.co.uk is an online forum where businesses can trade excess stock and scrap waste, such as used polystyrene chips and surplus boxes.
Companies can post requests for certain types of materials, upload adverts for waste they wish to get rid of and trade online.
Scrapshop, which launched earlier this month, was devised by Matthew Roper, a project manager at Cheltenham-based eco-products website GreenBuying.
The project, which has now been rolled out nationwide, was originally piloted in Cheltenham and Gloucester where the council granted funding from its Business Pride Initiative.
