Gwalia reveals 1.5m expansionliz.wells@haymarket.com, 17 March 2008Be the first to comment on this article Gwalia Packaging, the South Wales closure and bottle manufacturer, is to expand and redevelop its manufacturing facility in Pontypridd as part of a 1.5m capital investment programme. Gwalia will also purchase automation equipment, large capacity tooling and other facilities. However, the company declined to provide further details about its plans. The company said the redevelopment had become necessary following ITS acquisition and integration of Riverside Plastics in 2007. The project is being financed by shareholder funds and by grant funding from the Welsh Assembly Government.
