Lancastrian Labels has ceased trading with the loss of around 20 jobs, Packaging News has learned

The Liverpool-based self-adhesive label design and printing firm went into administration on 10 February with the appointment of David Kelly of PricewaterhouseCoopers as administrator.

Kelly told Packaging News that Lancastrian had gone through a restructuring last year and that there were approximately 22 staff at the time of his appointment.

“We’re now looking to realise the firm’s assets for the benefit of the creditors,” he said.

Kelly added he was in talks about selling a number of items of machinery that were at the site.

According to the last available information from Companies House, Lancastrian has fixed assets worth £610,000.
