Sonoco picks up Clear Pack

US packager Sonoco Products has bought Clear Pack for an undisclosed amount.

Illinois-based Clear Pack makes commercial roll stock and thermoformed products that will give Sonoco’s customers “an even broader range of plastic packaging and closure solutions”.

Sonoco operates in 85 countries and has annual sales of £1.7bn ($3.5bn) worldwide.
