Walki Wisa has taken aim at the crispbread, cookie and biscuit market with Walki Seal Peel, a peelable wrapper that can be printed in flexo, offset, rotogravure and UB flexoprint, and which opens along the seam.

The wrapper is produced in a single run from bleached MF paper and a peelable co-extruded coating. Cutting the need for a second run to apply adhesive provides cost savings, claims Walki. The company is working on a resealable version.
