Three die in PCA mill explosion
Packaging Corporation of America (PCA) has confirmed the death of three people following an explosion at a paper mill in Tomahawk, Wisconsin.
The explosion in a recycled fibre storage tank occurred at around 1.30pm (7.30pm BST) yesterday (29 July).
The three employees were doing maintenance on the top of the tank. A fourth person, who was standing on a lower platform at a lower level of the tank, was also injured by the blast.
The exact cause of the explosion in unknown and is being investigated.
