Bulk handling and weighing equipment specialist, Saimo will show its new range of weighing and inspection equipment at the PPMA show at the NEC in September.

Lankashire-based Saimo created the range of multihead combination weighers, linear weighers, checkweighers and formfill and seal baggers for the European market.

A group of 70 development engineers developed the range, which was first shown at Interpack, the processing and packaging show held in Düsseldorf in April.

The equipment is aimed at the food, pharmaceutical, snacks, confectionery and process industries amongst others.

Further machines are in development for introduction over the next two years.

Saimo has already supplied machines from the range to UK food processors.
