Packaging recycling firm Plaistere & Hanger Cartons has gone into administration.

Administrators Antony Batty and Stephen Evans of London-based insolvency practitioner Antony Batty & Company were called in to the company on 15 August.

Plaistere, which is based in Corby, Northamptonshire, provided a range of services including skip hire and recycling of cartons, packaging and plastics.

It is not clear if the company is still trading but phones were not being answered at the company this morning and the company's website has been removed.

A previous version of the website, which was still live on the evening on 19 August, described Plaistere & Hanger as "a well-run family business which has been established for 45 years".

Antony Batty could not be reached for comment this morning.
