Cornwall-based Upton Packaging has joined the list of packaging companies that have entered into administration.

Family-run Upton Packaging was placed under the control of joint administrators SJ Parker and TJ Binyon at Tenon Recovery on 17 October.

The company is believed to still be operating, however, Upton Packaging and Tenon Recovery were unavailable for comment as this story was published.

The company supplies all types of packaging from bubblewrap, tapes, carrier bags, paper packaging and eco-friendly bags.

Managing director Keith Tipler and commercial director Rebecca Tipler set-up the business in 1997.
