RW Injection Moulding eyes growth after acquisitionJill Park, 13 October 2009Be the first to comment on this article Medical injection moulder Classic Industries has acquired RW Injection Moulding and renamed the Teesdale company Classic Industries Europe. RW Injection Moulding employees will remain at the company and it will continue to be run by general manager John Pearson, who will report to the US office. Pearson said that the first stage of integration was “to make sure that our customers see a seemless transition to Classic”. RW Injection Moulding and Classic Industries have similar profiles in that they both serve global customers in the pharmaceutical sector and have the latest manufacturing equipment. The acquisition secures the long-term future of the business and opens up expansion opportunities for RW Injection Moulding. “RW has been a profitable, well-run business, but we were a relatively small player and I think it was always going to be difficult to break out of that,” said Pearson. “This gives us the facility to experience double-digit growth.” Click here for today’s headlines from across the packaging industry Speak Your Mind |
