Schubert UK managing director Law resigns

Alan Law has resigned as managing director of the UK subsidiary of German packaging machinery manufacturer Gerhard Schubert.

Law was responsible for setting up the UK operation, in Meriden near Coventry, in 2002 and turned Schubert UK into a firm generating a £14m turnover each year.

Gerhard Schubert sales director Gerald Schubert thanked Law “for all his hard work over the past seven years” and said the company’s UK expansion plans remained “on track”.

Schubert UK employs 12 support staff providing project management and consultancy as well as sales and technical support.

The firm declined to provide details about a Law’s replacement.
