Totality GCS was added to food manufacturer Symington’s design roster following the successful launch of Go! Noodles at the start of the year.
“Tesco was pulling their own brand version of Pot Noodle and wanted a tertiary brand to replace them,” said Totality GCS creative director James Ryan. “We were given six weeks turnaround time.”
Two weeks after the launch of the range, which is available in chicken and mushroom, beef and tomato and spicy curry flavour, it was selling 25% above estimated figures.
Manchester-based Chadwicks manufactured a six-colour heat-sealed aluminium lid with random grub embossing for the Go! Noodles range.
“Chadwicks has had an ongoing relationship with Symington’s for a number of years and has previously supplied lidding to them for other noodle ranges,” Chadwicks’ sales administrator Vicki Slater told Packaging News.
The Ainsley Harriott range will go into stores in the oncoming weeks. Totality GCS has also worked on the new design of Golden Wonder noodles, launched this month.
