Schubert to showcase TLM robots at PPMA Show

Schubert, the German packaging machinery manufacturer, will be showing its automated method for coupling tools to its TLM robots at the PPMA Show.

The firm said the new method, which is making its UK debut at the show, can reduce machine setting time by eight minutes and eliminates the risk of control failures caused by loose contacts.

The tool's is programmed with a pre-set code so the robot can check the tool matches the correct application.

Schubert's stand will display three TLM-F44 pre-grouping stations as well as TFM-F2 robotic units performing high-speed case erecting, loading and closing functions.

Schubert will be exhibiting on stand B21 at the PPMA show that runs from 30 September to 2 October at the NEC in Birmingham.
