Bradman Lake in big export drive

Bradman Lake Group is to expand its presence in key export markets by opening new offices in Russia and China this year and could also make acquisitions overseas.

The group, which garners 80% of its sales from export markets, also plans to invest £2.5m in after-sales operations in the next 12 months.

Bradman Lake Group, which was formed in June 2004 with the merger of Autowrappers, Europack and Bradman Lake, expects turnover for 2006 to be more than £35m, according to chief executive Simon Wheatley (pictured).

He officially launched the group’s new website before Christmas and also highlighted progress during 2006.

Wheatley said that the group had completed more than 12 contracts worth in excess of £1.5m in 2006 that combined machinery from all packaging process steps from the three brands.
