Springetts’ owner Andy Black said the new identity followed a brand and category review which revealed that consumers found savoury pastries “overly similar” and that they shopped on “auto-pilot” for them.
The aim, therefore, was to bring to life the values of the brand and focus more on wholesomeness and bakery cues.
The new packaging uses muted green and cream tones and the flow-wrapped packs, previously printed high-gloss, now have a silk matt finish and a parchment feel.
