Design consultancy Lewis Moberly has scooped a Eurobest award for its packaging design for Waitrose fresh herbs.

London-based Lewis Moberly was the only UK packaging design agency to win at the European awards ceremony, held in Stockholm last night (3 December).

Sophie Wagstaffe, Waitrose project manager at Lewis Moberly, said: “It’s great to be recognised, especially in a European competition which is predominantly won by European consultancies.

“The Waitrose herbs packaging looks really impactful on shelf and has won numerous awards so we’re really delighted,” she added.

Of the 249 winning entries, 81 went to German entrants, 41 to Swedish and 23 to Belgian.

The Eurobest awards, which closed the European Advertising Festival, received a record 5,896 entries for categories including Design, TV/Cinema, Print, Outdoor, Sales Promotion and Interactive. Lewis Moberly was a winner in the Design category.
