Crown Food Europe marketing director Ana Ces-Agraso said the new line had been developed in response to increasing consumer demands. "The ability to get your finger under the pull in the first place is something we've been looking to resolve in recent years," she said. The new Easylift format builds on the company's Eole technology by "significantly improving tab access". The technology has been trialled with Nestlé pet food in the Netherlands, but Crown hopes to roll it out with other companies across the continent.
