Landor triumphs for second year in a row in grocery awards

Landor Associates has been named packaging agency of the year for the second time running at a leading marketing awards bash.

The consultant, which handles names like Ariel, Baileys and Tropicana, scored the double at the Grocery Advertising and Marketing Industry Awards last month.

Landor, which has 24 offices in 16 countries around the world, also won two GRAMIA gongs for pack design work on E45 Facial Skincare and Walkers Sensations.

“We treat packaging as a long-term strategic medium rather than a short-term promotional gimmick,” London-based managing director Cheryl Giovannoni said at the awards for the cream of consumer packaging.

“Packaging is much more about brand building with the proliferation of media.”

The Fresh Packaging Company won a Golden GRAMIA for its work with Pemberton & Whiteford design consultants.
