Wyndeham adds design strength

The Wyndeham Press Group has bought Essex-based packaging design company JGA Design Strategies for an undisclosed sum.

It will be incorporated into Wyndeham’s expanding packaging division alongside Wyndeham Kestrel and Wyndeham Connect, which were both acquired in October last year.

Founded in the mid-1970s JGA Design Strategies provides packaging design and artwork services for FMCG clients including Kimberley Clark.

Wyndeham Kestrel managing director Mick Tooley said: “The acquisition complements our strategy of providing a full end-to-end service to the packaging industry. We now offer conceptual design, project management, specialist flexographic services and full colour management across the three businesses. It is a powerful offering to existing and potential clients.”

Paul Utting (pictured), Wyndeham Press Group chief executive, said: “The packaging market represents an important element of Wyndeham’s growth strategy and this acquisition will enhance the range of solutions we offer.”

Across the packaging division, the group now employs around 250 staff.
