Croxsons supplies bottle for Shuda Cocktail Mix brand

Croxsons, the glass packaging supplier, has collaborated with Belarus Bottling Company to supply a bottle with a printed sleeve for the Manchester Drinks Co for the Shuda Cocktail Mix brand.

The Surrey-based firm supplied a standard 70cl spirit bottle with a high-shrink PET nine-colour UV flexo printed sleeve by Staffordshire printer Tungate. The pack is finished with a 30x35mm litho printed ROPP (pilfer-proof closure) from Federfin Tech of Italy.

Croxsons marketing manager Tim Croxson said the unusual part of the project was using a bottle more commonly associated with spirits such as whisky or gin for the cocktail mix.

"The bottle stands out because it looks different, which makes it more appealing," he said.

Derbyshire-based Belarus Bottling Company handled the filling and storage.

Croxsons has supplied Asda with more than 150,000 bottles for a nationwide roll-out of the product.

Croxsons was established 136 years ago as a bottle washing firm. It is now a global packaging company and includes Diageo and Bacardi as key partners.
