Brandhouse designs packs for Jabra's hands-free kits

Brandhouse has designed the product packaging for Jabra's hands-free and wireless headsets.

The London agency won the business following a four-way global pitch.

Brandhouse head of account management Lisa McWilliam said the agency was briefed to "help Jabra break through the clutter of the Bluetooth headset category to become the brand of choice".

"The packaging needed to highlight strong design, quality and expertise and reflect the simplicity of the products," she said.

The agency also focused on Jabra's heritage and pedigree in telecommunications and audio accessories to create the new product packaging, which has a striking black and yellow design, lively illustration and clearer product definition.

The materials supply and printing were handled by Jabra's suppliers in China.

Jabra is the leading brand of communications company GN, which includes headsets for mobile phone users, offices and call centres.

GN was founded in 1987 under the GN Store Nord umbrella.

In 2000 the firm acquired the Jabra Corporation, founded in San Diego in 1993, and also launched its first mobile Bluetooth headset.
