Sustainable packaging is a high priority for customers wanting to maintain their environmental credentials.
However, much of what’s labeled as recycled packaging still contains a significant proportion of virgin Kraft.
The availability of 100% genuinely recycled packaging has the potential to be a key differentiator between suppliers in 2013 and beyond.
At Ecorrugated we’re meeting this demand by incorporating a new board made exclusively from waste paper, using a high tech paper that is made from Kraft that has been recycled once.
Pro-Kraft Liner, produced by the Prowell group and converted in a plant 200 metres from Ecorrugated’s front door is a UK first.
Prowell have made significant investment in the latest technology to ensure that they are at the forefront of paper manufacturing in Europe.
In layman’s terms, it is a 100% recycled product with no difference in performance or finish to a virgin Kraft product.
This greener than green packaging is likely to become a key selling point as awareness builds and customers look to further strengthen their eco-credentials.

How do you know that it’s been recycled once?
