Atwell launches ‘linerless’ labelling at easyFairs

The company has devised a range of print-and-apply units that provide an environmentally-friendly alternative to standard self-adhesive labelling systems.

Atwell said the system has a number of advantages, including zero paper wastage, no backing paper or ribbons that require disposal, and 60% more labels on a reel. The firm said that the labels are up to 30% cheaper than standard print-and-apply labels and have increased print-head life.

Atwell has also developed a production and application process for the ‘linerless’ label.

EasyFairs took place at the Birmingham NEC over the course of two days this week (24 and 25 February).
