Denmark extends deposit scheme
Denmark is to extend its national deposit-return scheme for drinks packaging to cover mineral water bottles, bringing another 100 million bottles into the scheme each year.
More types of soft drinks will also be covered by the scheme, which currently covers beers and some soft drinks packaging.
An additional 15 million soft drink containers will be introduced to the scheme, Denmark's environment ministry has said.
Importers, producers and retailers have until December to comply with the new rules.
