The ZeroTree line, which will be launched in the next few weeks, includes boxes and pouches made from materials such as stone, abaca plants, bamboo, jute and cotton as well as recycled plastic packaging.
The products come in a variety of designs, shapes and colours for clothing, cosmetics, jewellery, shoes, chocolates and wine. They can be custom-designed with brand messages or logos.
A new division called ZeroTree Packaging has been created to promote and sell the new line.
David Meir, director of Noble Gift Packaging in Enfield, Middlesex, said: “The stone bags are the same weight as paper bags, with the added advantage that they won’t collapse when they get wet.”
Noble Gift Packaging is headquartered in Montreal, Canada and has offices in the US, Switzerland, China and the UK. It employs 150 people producing more than 1,000 packaging items for major retailers and independent stores.
