British birds and emotive copy are central to the packaging design of new toiletries range Green & Spring, created by London agency Pearlfisher.

Hospitality firm A Curious Group of Hotels commissioned Pearlfisher to design the packaging for the range, which will be used across its hotels and spas.

The Green & Spring range includes handmade bath and body products inspired by the English countryside, and this is reflected in the packaging.

Birds that can be spotted in the British Isles have been incorporated into the design against a background of copy denoting the ingredients and benefits of each product.

Colour has also been used to divide the range. Warm reds are used on indulgent products, romantic shades of purples and greys are used for the relaxing products and citrus colours have been used for the revitalising range.

A spokeswoman from Pearlfisher revealed that the agency chose HDPE bottles from M&H Plastics to pack the range because of the “good recycling infrastructure for HDPE” in the UK.

“It also has a lovely natural white colour, which we emphasised by adding a white masterbatch,” she added.

Green & Spring products are available from Liberty and online this month.

A Curious Group of Hotels includes the C.Side Spa in the Cotswolds, L’Hotel and Le Restaurant in Paris and The Corner Club in Oxford.
