Plantic signs third supply and development dealstevenkiernan, 6 November 2007Be the first to comment on this article Plantic Technologies, the developer of environmentally friendly plastics for packaging, has entered into a supply and development deal with flexible packaging supplier Bemis.
The companies will target the resulting films at the personal care and dry goods flexible packaging markets in the US, where Bemis is based. Bemis chief operating officer Henry Thiesen said: "We feel that in working with Plantic, we will be able to build on the current environmental efficiency of flexible packaging. "The Plantic partnership will provide material options that further encourage long-term sustainability and responsibility without sacrificing the quality and functionality our customers have come to expect from Bemis films." This will be Plantic's third supply and development deal this year following the announcement of partnership agreements with DuPont in September and National Starch in October. Speak Your Mind |
