Flow-wrapping machinery manufacturer Tisomi is moving to a new site in Wetherby on the back of increasing sales last year.

Tisomi will be exhibiting its range of machinery that is used by a number of snack food and bakery firms at the BIE exhibition that runs at the NEC from Sunday.

The firm is currently in the process of moving from its Otley, West Yorkshire base to larger premises in Wetherby and will also be unveiling a new corporate identity at the BIE show.

Managing director Peter Miller said he was “cautiously optimistic” about the firm’s prospects for 2010 after a significant increase in sales last year.

“We were particularly successful in the bakery industry and I attribute that to the combination of the price and flexibility of our machines,” he said.

Tisomi’s range of machines includes entry-level flow-wrappers to high performance, high volume equipment that is designed to be run 24/7. They are available in part or full “damp atmosphere” stainless steel, the firm said.
