Kern is UK agent for Tecnopackstevenkiernan, 4 April 2007Be the first to comment on this article Kern will launch its exclusive UK and Ireland distribution partnership with Italian flow-wrapper specialist Tecnopack at the Total exhibition in May. Kern will show a Tecnopack flow-wrapper at the exhibition, which takes place from 15-18 May at the NEC. This will be Kern’s second collaboration with Tecnopack after it exhibited one of the firm’s products at the PPMA show in 2006. Tecnopack has been looking for a UK partner to distribute its flow-wrapping kit, targeted at the baked goods markets, for a number of years. Kern general manager John Flawley said the firm had received very positive feedback from customers about Tecno-pack so decided to explore the market in more detail. “We believed there was a significant opportunity in the bakery sector,” he added.
