M&H offers RPET for green packs

M&H Plastics is offering its customers post-consumer regrind as material for the production of bottles and jars, in response to growing demand for environmentally friendly products.

Post-consumer regrind is recycled plastic waste ground down to be used in new manufacturing, and can be offered between 25% and 100%.

Beccles-based M&H currently purchases regrind solely for use in PET production. However, it is testing other polymers, including HDPE and PP, and the firm hopes to be able to roll out new products in the next 12 months.

M&H specialises in products for the personal hygiene and healthcare markets.
