PFM Packaging Machinery has launched a new packing machine, targeted at cosmetics and healthcare manufacturers, that can produce multiple-sized packs and operates at speeds of up to 120 cycles per minute.

The Pearl machine (pictured) features a fully servo-operated horizontal wrapper that can produce a pillow-style pack in a variety of different sizes from a flat reel of heat-sealable film.

Building on PFM’s experience of manufacturing flowrap machines and fully automated lines, the Pearl has a carbon steel fabricated frame within a small footprint.

The Pearl can also automatically adjust the bag length, print registration position and wrapping speed to suit each filling application.
