Visitors to the RTS Packaging Systems stand can receive a five-minute check to evaluate their automation requirements.

The nine-question check is designed to help RTS evaluate the hidden potential for automated handling.

RTS managing director David Bradford said: “It helps people to assess very quickly what they need.”

Last year the company carried out its ‘Appetite for Automation’ survey to discover why companies in the UK are not fully exploiting the benefits of automation.

A round-table discussion, held to discuss the survey results, concluded that food manufacturers could benefit from greater productivity through investment in
automation.
