PFM announces multi-head weigher for Interpack
PFM Packaging Machinery will use Interpack to launch the C3 series MBP multi-head weigher for handling mixed fruit bags.
The packaging machinery supplier said the machine was fitted with an extra row of memory buckets so that the weighing process was almost twice as fast as a conventional machine.
PFM will also show the latest versions of the Blizzard flow-wrapper, the Pearl pillow pack wrapper, the Scirocco BB horizontal flow-wrapper, and the Comet and Vetta vertical form, fill and seal machines.
The Blizzard flow-wrapper, which is targeted at the confectionery market, can produce pillow packs at speeds up to 1,500 per minute.
The Scirocco BB is aimed at the high-speed modified atmosphere packaging of cheeses, breads, fresh pasta, sausages and meats.
PFM will also demonstrate a twin-lane sandwiching machine for biscuits from SPS.
The firm will share a stand with secondary packaging specialist Cama and will show horizontal and vertical PFM flow-wrappers linked with Cama's end-of-line machinery.
PFM will be on stand D15 to E16 in Hall 13 of the Messe Düsseldorf on 24-30 April.
