Hapa shows additions to pack printer ranges

Hapa, the supplier of pack printing technology for the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors, will show new additions to its flexible and digital printer ranges at Interpack 2008.

The Hapa 200 series machines print using solvent-free UV inks.

The company will show the Hapa 210, a narrow web printer designed for integration with conventional labelling machines, which partially or fully prints pre-cut, self-adhesive labels in up to five colours at speeds of up to 30 metres per minute.

Each printing unit is fitted with a sensor to monitor label edges so that accurate registration is maintained.

The machine is also available in an offline roll-to-roll version that can be used to supply a number of labelling machines.

The company will also show the Hapa 260, which prints onto intravenous infusion bag material.

Hapa will be on stand D16/D30 in Hall 14 of the Messe Düsseldorf.
