Royston Labels installs new press

Royston Labels, the self-adhesive label manufacturer, has installed a Nilpeter FA4 Combination Press to help improve turnaround times and production efficiency.

The press, which was installed in July at the firm's plant in Royston, Hertfordshire, has a web width of 420mm and can screen or flexo print up to 12 colours, individually or in combination.

It can process a wide range of substrates and offers hot and cold foiling and over-lamination.

Royston managing director Paul Clayton said: "The servo driven press has tighter controls that will help support targets of reducing waste and set-up times."

Royston Labels serves a variety of markets, including food, drink and healthcare, with a range of products including booklet and tamper-evident labels.
