Bpi.films to show Wrapsmartultra at Logistics Link North

Bpi.films, the manufacturer of polythene films, will be showcasing its new pallet stretch wrap at Logistics Link North 08.

Wrapsmartultra offers all the performance of a 14 micron (mμ) film but from a profile that's only 7 mμ thick. As a result, half the film by volume is required to wrap a given load and in turn, less packaging waste is created.

The product's thinner profile also means customers get up to twice the film per reel than with a conventional 14 mμ film.

The event, which takes place on the 14 and 15 October at Doncaster Racecourse, will also showcase Bbpi.films' Zeroll, its hand roll stretch film, which contains no cardboard core. Instead it is applied using special re-usable applicators.

The company will also promote its free wrap audits service which assesses a organisation's product choice and pallet wrapping methods before providing best practice advice.

A company spokeswoman said: "Our commitment to on-going research and development and to responding positively to customer feedback has seen us develop new products, introduce new support initiatives and launch new services recently.

"Even existing customers will find a visit to our stand worthwhile, whilst the benefits to new users will be even more profound."

Bpi.films will be on Stand 515 at Doncaster Racecourse.
