Logis TPS launches bottle sorting kit
Logic TPS, a supplier of production equipment to the pharmaceutical, cosmetics, food and healthcare industries, has launched the Sortstation bottle unscrambling machine.
The machine has been designed to accommodate plastic bottles of various shapes and sizes and to fulfil the requirement for rapid and effective sorting in a range of sectors.
The Sortstation has the ability to handle a diverse range of variously shaped bottles and containers ranging from 30mm to 100mm in diameter, and from 30mm to 250mm in length.
Users can also changeover bottle sizes in less than one minute without the use of tools, according to TPS Logic.
The Sortstation has been designed to accommodate a minimal footprint of 1m width x 1.5m depth x 1.9 height.
Keith Gooch, managing director of Logic TPS, said: "Feedback from the market tells us that typical batch sizes are continuing to shrink and that rather than one or two days being devoted to a product, the norm is more likely to be an hour, or even as little as a matter of minutes.
"As a result, we wanted to introduce an easy-to-use solution that would accommodate a diverse range of bottle shapes and sizes, as well as avoiding the need for change parts or ongoing investment. The Sortstation achieves these aims while offering a footprint half the size of other machines of equivalent output," he added.
The Logic TPS Sortstation is fully CE compliant.
